The Canard That Speaker Jasper and the Jaspercrats are Conservatives

Today the New Hampshire House, by a 64 percent to a 36 percent margin, rejected a constitutional amendment that would have required a 3/5 vote of the Legislature to raise taxes.  No, that is not a typo, the New Hampshire House, which on paper is 60 percent Republican, rejected a measure that would have made it harder to raise taxes.
